Howdy, internets. Sorry I didn't post earlier, but I've been feeling sort of physically and emotionally crummy all day so I couldn't really gather any remotely entertaining thoughts until just now. Basically, I spent the whole day lounging around watching OZ and I realized it'd been a while since I'd posted anything about my progress on the series.



- I have to applaud the guy who played Clayton Hughes for doing one hell of a job in the "crazy fucking bastard" role, that was some straight up unsettling shit
- I must confess I went through a mix of emotions over the death of Adebisi...

- This may have just been me, but I wasn't wild about the whole Querns story arc...I mean, we're probably not supposed to like the guy, but come on, the whole thing just seemed so unnecessary
- The littlest Schibetta returns (looking kindof cute actually) and...resumes being everyone's buttmonkey (literally)...I am disappoint
- I kinda 'ship O'Reilly and Dr. Nathan a little bit (because they're adorably fucked up and come on now, I 'ship Keller/Beecher, you expect me to like normal, healthy relationships?)
- Claire had best step off Keller and Cyril or else shit is gonna have to get real...

- Schillinger, Robson, and the other Aryans just need to get hit by a bus (especially Robson -- I think Schillinger's just being especially bastardlike because of the bus crash and his granddaughter and shit)
- I love Beecher's fucked up, silver-tongued bastard self (his speech about how Schillinger and Said are opposites but alike sort of made my week)
- Does McManus's ex-wife(/the governor's liason) strike anyone else as axe-murderer levels of creepy? The woman gives me the wiggins, y'all
- Beecher's dream sequence where he gets paroled totally tricked me in the bad way (I was like "Really, OZ? You do some crazy shit but this is ridiculous")
- What the FUCK is the deal with Cloutier? Seriously! Is he supposed to be Jesus? Charles Manson? A hilarious mix of the two?
- I would still gladly have Dean Winters's stupidly hot, fucked up Irish babies
- Ditto re: Keller
- I might actually cry if Cyril gets executed -- he's so...childlike? I almost said innocent but that doesn't sound right either....mishandled/misunderstood?
- Timmy or whatever that little redheaded Biblethumping fuck's name is just needs to die, I'm really sick of his crap on so many levels

- I heart Mama O'Reilly (but, then again, Ryan's awesomeness had to come from somewhere, right?)
- The dog-training thing! Oh Alvarez, I see you trying so hard to redeem yourself, I have such high hopes for you
- I have very confusing feelings about Omar...I mean, he annoys the shit out of me, but I want so badly for him to succeed too (I feel like he just needs a periodic tazer shot every now and again just to shut up though)
- I miss dotty, "God told me"!Ribodeaux (but love his adorable bromance with Agamemnon, they are so married it's not even funny)
- Did anyone else really not feel Connelly as a character? I love Ireland an' all but he seemed so tacked on and I might sort of secretly wish he'd succeeded in blowing himself up
- However, I greatly enjoy Redding -- most badass leader of the African-American contingent since Jefferson Keane, tbh
- Father Mukada can sing, holy shit O_o

I may add more as more occurs to me, but that's the bulk of my thoughts for the moment.

Meanwhile, it's currently raining like a bastard (again) complete with lots of thunder and lightning (again) and it totally spawned an excellent prompt but I can't seem to make it go anywhere. It started out Starsgard in my head but can totally be adapted to any GK pairing that tickles anyone's fancy if anyone wants a prompt. Me, on the other hand...

Haha, I LOVED that Beecher/Schillinger duet SO MUCH. ♥ :D And father Mukada rocked pretty hard, too, yo! (If I'm not mistaken, the actor did some Broadway?)
Mostly *high five* to your Oz thoughts. I hated Timmy SO MUCH and I'm not so sure who the fuck Cloutier was either. :D And Omar annoyed me that much I couldn't even wish him success. ;____;

- I wouldn't be surprised if B.D. Wong did Broadway, he's so many different kinds of awesome. Timmy, on the other hand, can just die. Repeatedly (like Ribodeaux except Timmy's would eventually succeed)

- I'm so full of angst that I can't do anything with this prompt I've come up with. Basically it's ASkars visiting Stark and this huge thunderstorm kicks up and knocks out the power in the middle of an unseasonable heat wave, so there's lots of lounging around in various states of undress and watching the rain and it all made a very pretty picture in my head. And yet? NOTHING COMES OUT ONTO THE PAGE gjfkodsjgkdljfklhgklfsgklkfslj
