1) These two could have had it all. Beautiful music happens when two stars collide, even though one falls and the other continues to rise. Jesse/Rachel, Glee (pau494)
2) A man who's seen entirely too much of the world to be natural wants to do bad things with a young lady who has her own touch of magic. Eric/Sookie, True Blood (leviathans_moon)

These are one ship from each fandom I've ever really liked so far, so there aren't, for example, two Glee ships or anything like that. My hints will probably just be what fandoms they are, but we'll see what y'all come up with to ask (if necessary).
Also, it's been brought to my attention (by an especially thoughtful flistie) that Stark's been a busy boy...
"“Kinky Boots,” a musical based on the 2005 British film, is aiming for Broadway next season with a cast that includes Stark Sands (“American Idiot”) and Billy Porter (the Off Broadway revival of “Angels in America”). It would be the Broadway debut of the pop musician Cyndi Lauper as a composer and lyricist; the book is by Harvey Fierstein (“La Cage aux Folles,” “Newsies”) and the director and choreographer is Jerry Mitchell (“Legally Blonde”)."

Date: 2012-01-12 04:39 am (UTC)Tunny moved to Jingletown when he was 14 and a total dork. He falls in with Johnny and Will and gets more cool. He and Will kind of flirt around and such and have a very physical relationship, because Will is a physical guy.
Then Tunny's dad and his sister, Gemma, die in a car accident when they're hit by a drunk driver. Tunny is in the car with them and is with them when they die. That night, he sneaks out of the hospital and walks like 8 miles in the pouring rain with his arm in a cast and shows up on Will's doorstep, and Will takes him in and Tunny tells him what happened, and they fall asleep in their underwear together, because they are completely in love.
After this though, Tunny goes from good kid to angry rage monster we know and love. He gives up his dream to go to Berkeley, he starts getting tattoos, he starts trying to hurt himself skating and in pits and getting into fights. And Will is the only one who can keep him level.

He meets Will (then 9ish years old) when Will's mom moves there from San Francisco to get away from her overbearing rich parents (y'see, she was more of a hippie artist type and, as such, they never much liked her lifestyle, Will's dad included). Will's skinny and quiet and kind of a mouse most of the time because his mother is so depressed that she can scarcely get out of bed and thus he's forced to mostly take care of himself and, by necessity, her. His grandparents send money, but he has to handle all the little things.
As the crossover says, Will and Tunny meet when Tunny and Johnny save Will from a bully Tunny's known since they were babies. Will and Tunny kinda fit perfectly together because the town talks about them and their families all the time but for different reasons; they gossip about how Will's mom almost never leaves their house, and about how Tunny's mom never wears short sleeves (even in the summer) and how you never used to hear the yelling you hear in Tunny's house BEFORE his dad went to 'nam.
And then there's more about how they see each other but I can't think of how best to phrase it. It has to do with looking out for each other; Will looks out for Tunny because he loves him and is used to looking after his nearest and dearest, while Tunny looks after Will because he loves him and because Will is someone Tunny CAN protect.
Stupid brain won't cooperate with me much more beyond that *headscreen*

He was open and accepting and ultra devoted to his kids, whereas Tunny's mom was kind of a social climbing, Stepford bitch. Much of the tension in their relationship comes from the fact that Tunny isn't living up to his mother's expectations of what her war-hero son should be doing. Sucking his best friend's cock definitely isn't.
(Tunny's bird tattoo is for his dad -- b/c Stark got it for his dad.)
Will's mom, Connie, is also super amazing and loving. My will has really severe dyslexia and makes bad grades, so Connie who is a librarian worked with him and taught him to read easily using comic books. So Will is a total comic geek -- we're talking 10 new titles every Wednesday sort of geek. Connie is a single mom -- Will's dad ran off when she got pregnant, but she's a tough lady. She's pale with dark hair like Will, very slight, and nerdy herself. She absolutely adores Will.
And she is incredibly disappointed with him when he leaves Heather and the baby.
After Tunny's dad dies, Tunny lives at Will's house for months, and Connie is the only adult that he trusts.
One of the things in my canon is that Tunny gets suspended for two weeks from school because he beat the shit of out someone when he and Will were 16. Will was kind of chunky in high school -- it took him longer than the other boys to hit puberty and lose his baby fat -- and Tunny overheard one of the jocks calling will a "fat little faggot," and Tunny slammed a locker door on the jock's hand, broke it severely, and then bashed his head into the locker several times.
When Will finds out, he's all confused, and he's like "why would you do that?" and Tunny's like "because I love you, dude, and that's what friends do."
