Apr. 16th, 2012 12:41 pmSo I watched the pilot episode of NYC 22 (as if I would miss it) and, on the whole, I found it surprisingly enjoyable. I went in fully expecting it to suck and privately dreading its inevitable premature cancellation, but the first episode was very encouraging; it moved along at a pretty decent clip without becoming incomprehensible (a lot of pilots try to do too much too soon) and set up a few potentially good story arcs.
My sole nitpick with it -- besides the extreme under-use of Stark, of course -- was that I'm pretty sure I can predict every rookie's early story arc based on these set-ups. ( Cut for those who haven't seen it yet )
We'll see if I'm right.
Anyone else out there have thoughts/#feelingz about it? TELL ME *grabby hands* In the mean time, I'll just be over here praying desperately for more looming and threatening and producing of handcuffs.
