So, what do y'all think? I know I've sat through some otherwise crappy stuff because he was in it (Shall We Dance?, anyone?) so I'm all for it, but some among you might be less patient than me.

(I'm a compulsive Law & Order (and SVU) addict, this wouldn't be the first ridiculous cop drama I've watched)

Or, for those among you who are just as intrigued as I am, please feel free to drool in the comments over the glorious mental picture this pilot proposes.

Sooo, today I discovered the true meaning of the phrase "laugh yourself sick".

Why, you ask? Because I just saw the most fucking hilarious Halloween costume ever over in

stark_sands. He was Justin Bieber. He even accounted for the massive height difference (through creative use of trash cans).

I COULD NOT MAKE THIS SHIT UP IF I TRIED.

I almost passed out from a coughing fit brought on by hysterical laughter.

P.S. - I haven't posted the pic directly because it came from Twitter (which got it from the Facebook page of a person I don't recognize), so I'm not sure how personal it was supposed to be.

ETA: Things I learned so far from taking a sleeping pill (like usual) but forgetting about the cough medicine I've been mainlining all week:

1) Words move in lines/segments. It's not dramatic, but it's just noticeable enough that you can lose surprising amounts of time watching it.

2) Typing gets remarkably difficult when you can't for the life of you remember where the key for your next letter is or (or, for that matter, what that next key was in the first place).

3) Easy words for a given context suddenly become impossible to remember. Also, those moments where you're sure you spelled a word correctly but it doesn't look "right"? Those happen a lot more.

4) I can feel my pulse everywhere.

5) Cliché as it sounds, music becomes FASCINATING.

So yeah, the combination of a sinus infection, cough medicine for same, a massive load of caffeine just to function, sleep deprivation from same, and a sleeping pill for same make things....interesting.

Either that or all this is evidence that the combined stressors above and my schoolwork have driven me 'round the bend. I'm betting the chemical interactions had something to do with it, though.

Oh my God, internets, have I got some news for y'all.

Some of you might remember a vague mention a while back of a possible trip to New York City for my upcoming birthday (this December)? Where Le Boyfriend and I would come, see American Idiot, and just generally hang out and see some sights?

It's actually looking like it's going to happen. Le Boyfriend's parents offered to spot the plane tickets, my folks agreed to spot show tickets and general spending money, and a relative of mine has offered us a crash pad not too far from the city.

In other words:

BRACE YOURSELVES, NEW YORKERS OF MY FLIST, FOR LE BOYFRIEND AND I ARE INVADING YOUR FAIR CITY.

I was pretty sure initially that this was just going to stay a pipe dream, but details are being hammered out/calls are being made/things are being set in motion. My reaction:

Join me in praying that nothing happens to jeopardize/cancel the trip. Also join me in praying that Stark is actually there when we go to see AI (none of this understudy nonsense) because then I could actually meet him omg.

I'll just be over here squeeing in the corner and waiting for it to be December.
