Ugh, I don't know if my brain chemistry is out of whack again or if my muse is just fucking off again or if staying up to chat all night with looleebelle is finally starting to break my brain or what, but I can't seem to be bothered to write anything. I want to write, I really do, but I opened up the Google Docs for EVERYTHING I have going. Nothing. Zip. Zero.

Anyway, I've already been having an odd sort of day as it is, starting by watching this video and paying closer attention to what he's saying this time (shutupIcanfeelyourjudgment):

That part where he mentions dropping out of highschool sophomore year due to issues with depression? I was in my sophomore year when I dropped out of high school the first time, due to a nervous breakdown caused by a massive bipolar-related depressive episode.

In other words? Mind. Officially. Blown. Maybe there are/were more reasons than I originally guessed that I felt like I understood Will a lot when I saw the show. I feel sort of ridiculous for being so boggled by this, I'm just...struck by the freaky coincidence, I guess.

You may have noticed I only busted out ONE gif -- the rest were all looleebelle (who, I suspect, has been trawling Tumblr for Idiot gifs again). Thank/blame her :P

And dude, any space pirate AU I wrote about XM:FC would probably come out sounding entirely too similar to Firefly except with more Robin Hood-esque undertones. Erik and Charles both start out stealing from the autocratic main governing body of the universe, but as time goes by it becomes clear that Erik is in it more for sticking it to the man (no matter who he has to hurt to do so) and Charles is in it to help people (again, occasionally being a bit of a jerk to people on his side in the process). Their paths diverge so much that eventually Charles and his team are pulling two jobs -- robbing from the rich(/powerful), and keeping Erik in check.

Maybe you can try taking a break for a day or two and see if the muse comes back then?

Amusingly enough, that'll put me more or less right smack up against when my fall classes start, and I'm already told that doing ALL the important things is like smelling salts for one's muse *g* We'll see how it goes.
