Internets, you wanna know what sucks?

Waking up at 3:00 a.m. to find yourself sick as a proverbial dog from food poisoning.


Wanna know what sucks even more?

Going to your 10:00 a.m. class in spite of the four hours (tops) of tossing/turning/waking-up-at-random sleep you got the night before. All while still feeling pretty majorly crappy.


Welcome to my life.


The short and the short of it is that I'm now incredibly behind on everything because I crashed for like 7ish hours after I got back from class. It wasn't even a "I think I'll go take a nap or something" moment, I just sat down on the bed and woke up several hours later. Blergh. Being sick sucks, y'all.


Anyway, while I scramble to catch up on everything, I'd like to appeal to any photography/camera wonks out there on my flist.



Basically, I'm looking to invest in a decent digital camera (for the New York trip and beyond), but I'm not sure what exactly to try.

Things I'm looking for:

- User-friendly
- At least decent battery life
- Small/slim (and ideally sturdy, but I realize there's a trade-off with size there)
- Good color/contrast quality, low-light shots and stability/minimal blurriness a plus (my hands shake a bit) (I'm happy with minimal bells and whistles as long as it takes good pictures)
- Not outrageously expensive (please think of my poor college kid bank account)

Here's what I've been looking at so far:

- Canon PowerShot SD940 IS
- Canon PowerShot A3100 IS
- Canon PowerShot SD1400 IS
