SO MANY FEELINGS (Part 1)

So, today's the big day that American Idiot as I(/we) know and love it is really, really starting to...splinter? Dissolve? Idk, some sort of unpleasant change.

Anyway, because I have a bunch of feelings about the show (SO MANY FEELINGS), I wrote an open letter of sorts to vent. Try not to mock me too much for it, I know I'm a huge sap *headscreen*

( Trite, maudlin open letter is both trite and maudlin (but at least decently heartfelt) )

I actually got all choked up when I was writing that.

Good lord, self, get a grip.

OH GOD SO MANY FEELINGS. If anyone needs me I'll be off having a good cry in the corner (and I don't mean perfect crystalline Jensen Ackles tears, oh no, I'm talking full on red and blotchy "Oh God what is that get it away from me" sobbing). Anyone else who's feeling especially mopey about this is welcome to join me.

ETA: It's official, Michael Esper's Twitter made me start bawling like a small child.

SO MANY FEELINGS (Part 2)

I CANNOT DEAL WITH THIS PICTURE. I can't. I had just managed to pull myself together (for the gazillionth time today) and then I saw this and the sight of Stark obviously trying (unsuccessfully) not to cry totally set me off again.

I like to think I look like this right now:
