emerald_skiesSo today is Veteran's Day, which is near and dear to me as a GK/AI(Tunny) fangirl, but also as someone with a number of IRL friends in the military; some of them have seen combat, some of them haven't, but every one of them would gladly risk their lives over and over to defend this country and so I'd be a pretty poor excuse for a friend not to honor that somehow.
In short, Happy Veteran's Day from someone who doesn't blame wars on the troops fighting them, but on the politicians who perpetuate them. Much love to all of said troops, friends of mine or otherwise.
