(no subject)
Jun. 28th, 2011 07:26 pmIn the course of poking around on
fandomsecrets, I stumbled across this secret, and wound up musing over it to an unexpected degree of depth. It's not problematic or any sort of -ist, it just raises some interesting questions. Is Erik evil or simply...rash? If Charles isn't good, then what is he exactly? Human (personality-wise, at least)? I'm still forming my own conclusions, but I'd be curious to hear what anyone else 'round these parts has to say on the subject. Feel free to go by movie or comic book canon (or, for the exceptionally daring, compare both), whichever seems more thought-provoking to you.
...oh dear God, I'm such a raging nerd. A raging nerd who still needs to catch up on True Blood (and maybe post some fic again sometime before doomsday) *headdesk*
In the interest of procrastinating, have more of a thirty-day meme I've been doing!
Day Five: If you have ever had a character try to push their way into a fic, whether your "muse" or not, what did you do about it?
Apologies for yet another boring answer, but I don't think this has ever happened to me before. A couple of times, I'll be in the middle of writing one story and then some blurb for another fic pops into my head (which I then dutifully jot down in a Word doc), but that's not really character specific...
