I only just realized that I forgot to mention how I've seen The Hunger Games twice now and it keeps giving me ALL THE #FEELINGZ

I can't remember all of the thoughts I had about it so for now I'll just leave a couple of pics/gifs of Josh Hutcherson here to squee about since I find him fucking disgustingly adorable.

There's a joke about buns in ovens in here somewhere… )

Alas, that's all I've got for the moment, so anyone who wants to donate their own pics/gifs/videos is welcome to do so. It says a great deal about his performance that he managed to convert a former diehard Gale fangirl into a Peeta fangirl (and a JHutch fangirl, of course).

So, flisties, what did y'all think? Does anyone else have ALL THE #FEELINGZ about it and want to vent? I need someone to squee and handflap with. In the mean time, have some Wilson Bethel to flesh out (ha!) this mancandy post a bit more.

"To rule is easy, to govern difficult…" -- Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

P.S. - I'm midway through re-reading Catching Fire and holy shit I forgot how much the story of how Peeta falls for Katniss pulls at my hopeless romantic heartstrings *sigh*

P.P.S. - I should have some fic ready for y'all this week once I get off my poor overworked ass and finish addressing [livejournal.com profile] looleebelle's beta comments \o/

So Le Boyfriend is at the DMV since his license expires on his birthday (which is in two days) and I just thought I'd post this little text exchange we had so y'all have some idea of what I live with:

Le Boyfriend: At what point does boredom become murderous psychosis?
Me: Usually right around when you start visualizing how many people you could kill before someone finally took you down. Wouldn't recommend a killing spree though, DMV has state troopers and state troopers have guns
Le Boyfriend: The key to an effective and efficient murder spree is proper planning. Aim for the troopers first

….The sad thing is this is actually fairly normal as our conversations go.

That being said, have this pic looleebelle sent me of Stark looking all of 16 years old )

Finally, just because I'm a huge movie nerd (and a closet English nerd), have this hilarious video Le Sibling sent me: Pulp Shakespeare (YOU KNOW YOU'RE CURIOUS) )

Internets, I've been getting a lot of telemarketing type calls to my cell phone lately, and this morning I decided I'd finally had enough.

Me: Hello?
Actual live person: Good morning! [Some shpiel about a home security system]
Me: That's very interesting but I'm actually about to go to class right now. Can I have your cell phone number so I can call you back to discuss it sometime this evening, say, 7:00 or 8:00?
Person: No ma'am, we close at 6:00
Me: Because you have better things to do than talk on the phone with complete strangers, right?
Person: Y-yes, but--
Me: Imagine that. You have a good day now *click*

I generally try to be gentle with telemarketers (because I realize most of them probably hate calling me about as much as I hate listening to them), but I put my cell phone number on the Do Not Call Registry about a month ago and they just keep calling. Thus…

At least I was just blunt rather than flat out mean.

""Character is power…" -- Booker T. Washington

P.S. - I correctly identified/recognized Stark's voice behind some bit character in a random Family Guy episode last night. I can't decide if this makes me the best fan ever, a whole new level of unbelievably pathetic, or some combination of both.

P.P.S. - Is it me or does this song seem to anyone else like it'd be just perfect for a fic? Maybe something in a nice, angsty Tunny/Will or something *ponders* Hmmm....
emerald_skies: (Default)
Holy shiny metallic mother of God I'm so tired

Le Boyfriend tells me we managed to have an entire conversation (that made zero sense) last night while I was basically half-conscious -- I don't remember any of this and am distinctly paranoid about what I might have said…

Anyway, I haven't updated recently because I've been kept so busy that I just didn't have the time or the energy. That being said, let's talk movies!

Things I've seen recently:

Chronicle (I was disappoint as a GK fangirl to see Patterson being the abusive asshole dad in this *sigh*)
Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance (So cracktastic and insane that I refuse to acknowledge it as a Ghost Rider movie)

Things I want to see:

Safe House (Denzelllll <3)
Act of Valor (LIKE BURNING)
The Hunger Games (AGAIN, LIKE BURNING)
The Dark Knight Rises
The Avengers (Because I want to mash Jeremy Renner and Chris Hemsworth together like Barbie dolls)

Which reminds me! Have a humorous video about Marvel movies that my coworker showed me the other day )

Meanwhile, back on topic…

Things I kind of want to see:

This Means War (I'm willing to suffer through what Reese Witherspoon considers acting if it means I get Chris Pine and Tom Hardy pulling each other's pigtails snarking at each other in the same movie)
The Secret World of Arrietty

It's gonna be a good year to go to the movies, y'all.

"Sanity is a cozy lie…" -- Susan Sontag

P.S. - I'm going to be very upset if Hugo doesn't win anything at the Oscars #justsayin

P.P.S. - I made a B on my first Therapeutic Modalities/Rehab test (which I barely studied for) \o/ Not bad considering I know for a fact that the professor actively dislikes me (she's part of the university athletic training program that rejected me...twice).
emerald_skies: (Default)
So a certain goddess-like flistie who shall remain nameless (*coughcough*[livejournal.com profile] eiirene*coughcough*) sent me something this morning that I think we could all appreciate. Feast your eyes, my fellow GK/AI/general Stark fangirls, on some truly quality hand/arm/tattoo porn:

This was the exact face I made when I clicked the link in her message:

I'm not going to say how LONG I had that look on my face because it's just embarrassing.

In other news, internets, y'all remember how excited I was when I realized I have neither class nor work nor my internship on Fridays? And how I thought this would give me ALL the extra free time? Oof, I was way off -- my schedule runs me so ragged now that I usually spend Fridays sleeping off the rest of the week. If this is what it's like to be an adult, then all the more reason to consider doing a Van Wilder and staying in college for another 3-4 years *headscreen*

Finally, on a totally unrelated note, Le Boyfriend and I saw The Woman in Black yesterday (because we love us some horror movies and I love me some DanRad). From my Facebook:

"The Woman In Black, a period horror piece that mostly resorted to jump scares (as you do in horror movies these days), but kept some of them subtle and timed them well enough to build fairly decent suspense. Plus all the bonus footage of Daniel Radcliffe brooding picturesquely off into the distance, probably about how hard it is to be richer than God. A solid 7.5/10, and actually worth the movie ticket price."

Anyone else here seen it? What'd y'all think?

"Lack of charisma can be fatal..." -- Jenny Holzer

P.S. - The Superbowl is tomorrow and, for once, I give precisely zero fucks about it. Why, you ask? Because I'm sick to death of ESPN worshipping the Patriots (and Tom Brady) and Eli Manning (of the Giants) just annoys me on general principle and okay, I'm more than a little bitter about how the Cowboys did this season because COME ON NOW. I think I'll be watching the Puppy Bowl this year for the sake of my blood pressure.

Internets, you wanna know something kind of awesome about growing up on the periphery of the non-douchey flavor of obscenely rich people (who, in my case, happen to be my godparents)? When said godparents take you/the family out to dinner at an obnoxiously-trendy-but-still-really-fucking-tasty Indian restaurant and ply you with awesome wine (godfather geeks out about it like normal nerds geek out about comic books) and equally awesome coffee (godfather's company supplies the restaurant).

I'm not even joking about the restaurant though, I've never seen so many fucking douchey twentysomething hipsters in my life -- there was a 40 minute wait because of them. BUT ENOUGH ABOUT THAT.

During yet another bout of insomnia, I decided to go on a Jesse Eisenberg kick and watched Rio (that animated parrot movie, for those keeping score at home) and yes, I finally caved and watched The Social Network. Rio was so fucking adorable and funny and pretty much left me like this:

While my reaction to TSN can be summed up thusly:

Y'all, the last time I shipped anything this hard was when I walked out of X-Men: First Class. Obviously I have a crippling weakness for geek love.

So, in the interest of amusing myself on the trip back to university-land this afternoon, I have a two-pronged request:

1) Bring me your favorite TSN fic -- bonus points if it involves a) The Bathroom Scene, b) Wardo scaring Sean off of Mark (hate sex is a plus here), or c) Some combination thereof
2) Spam me with ALL THE JESSE PICS. Good lord, that boy is so disgustingly adorable.

And while I realize this last aside might be a bit much, I'd appreciate a relative minimum of mockery about finally joining the dark side or whatever. I know I'm late, I just got sidetracked and was also initially despairing for mankind as a whole over the fact that Facebook got its own movie. I'M ONLY HUMAN *sob*

"Law never made men a whit more just...." -- Henry David Thoreau

P.S. - Godparents got me a pair of TOM's shoes for a way late Christmas present. I'm scared, y'all, does this mean I'm turning into a hipster? Am I going to have to resort to the path of noble suicide?

P.P.S. - Random thought of the day: Jfc, how fucking surreal would it be to get a friend request from Mark Zuckerberg?
emerald_skies: (Default)
Howdy, all! Have a shipping meme I found whilst going through my flist.

Shipping meme (ganked from [livejournal.com profile] faithharkness)

1. Think of up to 20 ships you support.
2. List them using descriptions of the characters involved rather than their names.
3. Have your f-list guess as many of the ships as they can.
4. Hints will be given if asked in the comments.

I couldn't manage 20, but these 8 should do. Read carefully! )

These are one ship from each fandom I've ever really liked so far, so there aren't, for example, two Glee ships or anything like that. My hints will probably just be what fandoms they are, but we'll see what y'all come up with to ask (if necessary).

Also, it's been brought to my attention (by an especially thoughtful flistie) that Stark's been a busy boy...

"“Kinky Boots,” a musical based on the 2005 British film, is aiming for Broadway next season with a cast that includes Stark Sands (“American Idiot”) and Billy Porter (the Off Broadway revival of “Angels in America”). It would be the Broadway debut of the pop musician Cyndi Lauper as a composer and lyricist; the book is by Harvey Fierstein (“La Cage aux Folles,” “Newsies”) and the director and choreographer is Jerry Mitchell (“Legally Blonde”)."

--From the NYT's Theater pages.

Another flistie informed me that this is going to involve him dressing in drag. Again. Allow me to express my reaction to this in gif form since I don't really have the words to cover it:

Cut to spare flist formatting )

Anyway, that's all I've got for now (except my review post of The Devil Inside), so have a silly gif to thank you for your time

All right, so I've been mainlining Law & Order: Special Victims Unit all afternoon to try to distract myself from the general suck of RL at the moment. In the middle of watching an episode about some shenanigans going down at a sex/swingers club, I realized someone looked kind of familiar...

This makes the second cast member I've seen on SVU... )

Does this make anyone else think of and/or want threesome/foursome/moresome fic, or is it just me? Anyone?

Internets: *collectively side-eyes me*

Just me? All righty then. I now return you to your regularly scheduled internetting.

P.S. - For any Sons of Anarchy fans out there on my flist (I can think of at least a couple), Opie was in this one too. THREE-WAY FANDOM COLLISION AHOY.

Oof, this week has been such a rollercoaster. For example, I've been so sleep-deprived that I actually slept until 3:00 today for the first time in at least four years. Probably a bad sign, right?

Basically, the short and the short of it is that I had two midterms (which I didn't tank, thank God) and got denied for the internship that interviewed me. I was freaking out about the latter because I thought its application deadline in two days was set in stone, but my professor (after a borderline hysterical pleading email from me) told me that he just sets that deadline to keep people from coming to him at the start of the next term expecting him to pull an internship out of thin air. In other words, I'm not as screwed as I thought -- I even managed to land myself another interview for Monday! Any positive vibes about it would be greatly appreciated.

In other news, it's [livejournal.com profile] abrokencompass's birthday today! Happy birthday, bb, as you can see, certain sex-godly individuals think you rock and hope you have an awesome day ;)

Aaand that's all I've got for the moment. Back to de-stressing, watching Law & Order: SVU re-runs, and trying to poke some more GK/AI crossover words out of my muse. I hope things are going relatively okay out there in internetland <3

"Information is not knowledge..." -- Albert Einstein

P.S. (because there's a slim chance someone besides me might find this funny) - I had a dream last night that I was playing badminton with Esper using a golden snitch. I'm wondering what this says about my unconscious (besides the fact that even it probably thinks I need a life).
emerald_skies: (Default)
So I finished catching up on True Blood last night, and I have some things to say -- #feelingz, if you will.

Cut for spoilers or capslock or...gifs or something... )

I'll try to get caught up on Glee sometime this week so I can post a similar overall list of thoughts/feelings, for lack of actual detailed episode-by-episode reaction posts. Anyone who hasn't given up on the show yet is welcome to share thoughts of your own, I'd be most curious to hear them.

That being said, I just have a letter to mention and then I'm spent:

Dear jackass,

I don't know about you, but *I* thought watching you wipe out on your crappy BMX reject bike (after almost running me over with it on my way to class) was pretty fucking funny. Call me mean spirited or whatever, but it pretty much made my day. Thanks for the laughs!

--[livejournal.com profile] emerald_skies

I swear to Raptor Jesus, I'm getting so sick of bikers/skaters almost running my ass over on the way to class; I'm actively considering bringing a cane or some other sort of blunt instrument along with me to bludgeon/clothesline any more that decide I have less of a right to the sidewalk than they do.

(Why yes, I do have some violent impulses, why do you ask?)

Sooo, one of those my-life-is-a-T.V.-show moments happened to me earlier. Written in script form for y'all's convenience.

The scene: Random convenience store
The cast: Me, Le Boyfriend, and Cashier Guy

Me: *wanders up to pay for purchases with Le Boyfriend in tow*
Cashier: *brightens* Hey, you should know we're having a sale on Snickers bars today *gestures to big ol' rack of chocolate next to the register*
Me: Uh...no thanks. *still paying*
Cashier guy: It's a good deal, I sold 100something yesterday and am looking to sell more today, blah blah blah
Me: Photobucket
(Expression of "Why is he still talking?")
Le Boyfriend: Photobucket

And then as Le Boyfriend and I were walking back to the car...

Me: Why d'you suppose he was so enthusia-- *glances at purchases in bag* Oh. OH.

And then I did this:

Why, you ask?

Because I was buying tampons and Midol. Yeah. VERY FUNNY, CASHIER GUY.

emerald_skies: (Default)
Oof, sometimes I really suck at updating this thing. Maybe I need to find myself another thirty-day writing meme.

Just dropping in mostly to relay a hilarious GK fangirl moment I had yesterday: Le Boyfriend's mother's birthday was yesterday, so we went out with his family to this Brazillian steakhouse (complete with Portuguese name and words on the menu). I may or may not have spent embarrassing portions of the night quoting Baptista lines to myself....*ahem*

Anyway, have a couple of my favorite shipping related gifs. Get your slash goggles on tight, folks )

Random post is random, but at least it serves to prove I'm alive. How are y'all?

"Money often costs too much..." -- Ralph Waldo Emerson

P.S. - Okay, so I just found this ... )

I cannot deal with Chris Hemsworth's dancing in that vid. I CANNOT.
emerald_skies: (Default)
Dude, I was ordering more of my meds today and I actually bothered to look at what my meds SHOULD cost -- let me tell you, internets, being crazy is fucking expensive. Thank Raptor Jesus for La Famille's health insurance or else I would be...like...negative broke. Seriously. I would have the opposite of money.

In other news, the air conditioner died yesterday evening (as [livejournal.com profile] looleebelle already knows because I spent most of last night whining to her about it). I wound up sleeping on top of my sheets in just a bra and shorts with my ceiling fan cranked up to full blast and I still felt godawful. I haven't sweated that much since I had the crazy death flu in my first year of college (and in that case it was because I had a fever of 105ºF). Just one of life's little reminders not to take things for granted, I suppose -- I actually have heard news reports about people without air conditioners here DYING (literally!) in the hotter parts of the summer. Thankfully, the repair guy showed up while I was gone this morning instead of three days later (or some such like what cable repair technicians pull on people).

Finally, I took my chemistry final (ha! See what I did there?) a couple of hours ago and actually...sort of did okay on it. I think. I was studying yesterday (and, again, whining to [livejournal.com profile] looleebelle) and was just about ready to commit seppuku by the time I went to sleep but actually? It wasn't that bad.

Of course, it's entirely conceivable that I still flunked it but fuck it, all my other grades in the class are As, it would be literally impossible for me to actually fail this class at this point so Idgaf. Freedom!

(Side note: Raise your hand if you love the Despicable Me minions as much as I do XD)

P.S. - Dear Rick Perry,

You actually seriously think you stand a snowball's chance in Hell of becoming President?

Sorry, honey, people still remember Dubya, I don't think people are exactly pro-Texas yet. It probably doesn't help that you held a giant event to pray the economy into sucking less instead of, y'know, trying to make actual plans to attempt to fix it that don't involve divine intervention.

So, internets, I sort of got the GK/AI crossover up to 16,000 words last night. Parts I and IV are written in their entirety (yeah, I don't get my brain either), part II is partially written and completely storyboarded, part III is almost completely storyboarded, and I still have to start storyboarding part V.

*ahem* Anyway, I decided to post a little snippet of part IV as a cookie for y'all and a "thank you" for everyone who's been listening to me bitch about this fic for so long.

Title: Take These Sunken Eyes (And Learn To See)
Author: [livejournal.com profile] emerald_skies
Pairing: Gen, or Tunny/EG if you tilt your head and squint
Rating: PG/PG-13 (just to be safe)
Summary: Tunny gets sick in the middle of recovering, and gets a little TLC from a rather...extraordinary source.
Author's note: I guess this could stand on its own, but this scene is meant to serve as something of a companion piece to Blackbird (which is the same scene from Grace's POV) so it's probably better to read them both. [livejournal.com profile] looleebelle is pretty much a goddess for putting up with my various neuroses without strangling me (and even betaing my stuff anyway).

When Tunny starts to get a cough... )

So yeah, hopefully someone out there got some enjoyment out of that. Comments of all kinds are, as usual, both welcome and strongly encouraged, even if they're simple "I liked this" or "Shut up and gtfo the internet" type comments.

In other news, I went to the doctor today just to get my BC script updated again and wound up waiting for a solid fucking hour in a waiting room with multiple screaming children. This, given the migraine I've had since last night, meant I was pretty much in my own personal tenth circle of Hell.

On the bright side, I lost fifteen pounds since I last checked a month ago, and am now safely in the "normal" weight range for my height AND my blood pressure is normal (instead of being all fucked from my meds like it was before) \o/

This post brought to you by Tunny and the boys because I miss Stark and his stupid adorable face

"Film lovers are sick people..." -- Francois Truffaut (sadly true in my case...)

P.S. - ASkars is still in New York. STILL. My inner tinhatter is probably going to rupture something soon from all this squee.

THING THE FIRST (relevant to the title actually): I introduced [livejournal.com profile] looleebelle To Michael Esper's Twitter the other night. Hilarity ensued when she got the full picture of just how delightfully insane he is, lol (you thought I was joking about the ten tweets in eight minutes thing!) He's worth following if you're not a) neurotic and shy like me and/or b) opposed to a really startling amount of A.D.H.D.

THING THE SECOND: Videos (aka Two New Reasons emerald_skies Hearts Justin Timberlake) )

THING THE THIRD: Les Neighbors and I are still working on catching the feral mama cat and kittens, but I did manage to get a few pictures of them recently!

Here thar be kittehs! )

And now back to working on the T/W/EG fic before certain people come back and beat me for not getting more done on it *gulps*

P.S. - Livejournal, I swear to God, I've been trying to make this damn post go through for the last FOUR GODDAMN DAYS...
emerald_skies: (Default)
I forgot to mention, internets, that the day before yesterday (aka part of why I was up at 5:00 in the morning during my last post) was an interesting one for a number of reasons.

First of all, I wound up having this text conversation with Le Sibling, who was at his girlfriend's sister's wedding in L.A.:

(972) - Wedding crazy. Wore suit, every1 assumed I wz wedding planner, so I gave orders.
(713) - LOL, nice.
(972) - At 1 point, caterers walked past [girlfriend]'s parents 2 ask me a question. Mission status: Wedding Accomplished.
(713) - Lol, like a boss

Sometimes I fucking love my family.

After that, I had lunch with two of my RL friends and wound up getting both of them hooked on GK and am slowly turning one of them into an American Idiot fanboy.

I do believe this makes me "Da Man".

Day Twenty-Seven: Where is your favorite place to write, and do you write by hand or on the computer?

90% of my writing is done on my laptop (*hugs Poindexter*), I only write by hand (in a spiral notebook) if I'm going to be spending a lot of time somewhere where I either can't bring my laptop or have no internet connection to speak of. With that in mind, I'm not sure I really have a favorite place to write -- I guess it'd have to be sitting in bed (bom-chicka-wow-wow?)

And finally, I have at last buckled under the peer pressure (and the shiny, shiny lure of stalking my favorite celebrities) and gotten myself a Twitter (Raptor Jesus help us all). I'm @AlleyCat_Allie, feel free to add me, just PLEASE remind me who you are so I don't have a big giant paranoid freak out about it. I'm already twitchy and paranoid about this frightening newfangled thing as it is.

"Men must live and create. Live to the point of tears..." -- Albert Camus

emerald_skies: (Default)
Internets, do any of you ever have one of those moments where recognizing someone in a movie makes you feel like a gigantic nerd?

Well, I had one of those just now...(with screen caps!) )

Okay, 'fess up, how many of you recognized him from the very first screen cap? Go on, I won't judge, I've had far too many WAY fangirlier moments than this to be able to judge without sounding like a total hypocrite.

The moral of this post? FANDOM IS EVERYWHERE, resistance is futile.

Lastly, more meme!

Day Twenty-Six: What is the oddest (or funnest) thing you've had to research for a fic?

That would be a tie between transfemoral prosthetic legs and exactly how much force it takes to crush a human windpipe (alongside how much force a mostly average adult male can generate in a punch). Both topics were being researched for the same fic, incidentally XD

And now, back to watching movies in the middle of the night because I can't make my brain shut up. Ta!

emerald_skies: (Default)
First, to any and all of my flisters out in Canadialand who were at Bluesfest during the storm, I sincerely hope none of y'all were squished by falling stages or otherwise injured *hugs*

In other news, I was sitting here contemplating the delightfully passive-aggressive formatting of the ETA in this FFR post and got to thinking about The Great Ship Wars of Yore.

WAIT! COME BACK! I'm not a crazy H/Hr or R/Hr shipper, that's not what this is about!

What I was going to say was that I admit I was only watching the batshittery go down from the very outermost periphery of it all (I was a gangly, insignificant fangirl of thirteen or so back then), so I never heard about any death threats or anything. Was this an actual thing? Can someone confirm this? I was hiding in a quiet little niche of Harry/Draco shippers, so I may as well have been in Amish country at the time.

Also, eine kleine light reading for anyone who wants to see just how crazy some of this shit really got

I'll just be over here contemplating the irony of the fact that the most peaceful/wank-free fandom I've ever been a part of is about WAR. Seriously.

Finally, the thirty day writing meme continues (and is almost done!)

Day Twenty-Five: Do you listen to music while you write? Do you make playlists to get into a certain "mood" to write your fic? Do you need noise in general? Or do you need it completely quiet?

I do indeed listen to music when writing! I even make playlists for certain fics if I'm having an extra hard time setting the scene (I believe the GK/AI crossover and one of my Starsgard fics have their own playlists, but there could be more that I'm forgetting).

Also, gif!

"Man - a being in search of meaning..." -- Plato

P.S. - Les Neighbors are making tentative plans to FINALLY catch the feral mama cat and kittens living out of their garage within the next couple of days. If this happens, y'all can bet I will post about four tons of pictures, because the kittens are right around that age/size that I call the "paper towel/toilet paper commercial stage"

P.P.S. - God, I need to catch up on True Blood, all these gifs on my flist of ASkars being adorkable are killing me *_____*
emerald_skies: (Default)
THING THE FIRST - Random cat picture of the day: If you box it, they will come... )

Not quite as stupefyingly adorable as my little tortoiseshell fuzzball, but still (hopefully) pretty amusing and cute anyway.

THING THE SECOND - Day Twenty-Four: How many betas do you like to use to make sure there aren't any major flaws in your fic? Do you have a Beta horror story or dream story?

Y'know, it's the damnedest thing, I used to be super compulsive about getting a beta for EVERY SINGLE ASPECT OF EVERY SINGLE THING I wrote (grammar/punctuation, flow, the works), but after a while I stopped doing it beyond occasionally finding someone to pester into making sure the story reads okay without sounding too odd in random places. I'm wildly insecure and neurotic about how my writing reads to other people, but I somehow still managed to gain enough confidence in myself to stop relying on betas. (With that in mind, one can only imagine how neurotic I used to be about writing...). I don't really have any notable horror OR dream stories about them though; I think I lucked out in that every person who's ever betaed for me turned out to be at least reasonable if not actively nice (without going above and beyond the call).

On the other hand, if one counts checking to make sure the story reads okay as beta work, then I have to say that [livejournal.com profile] jean_iris rocks for everything she's done to help with my Starsgard fics, and [livejournal.com profile] pau494 pretty much deserves a medal for everything she's done to help my Idiot fics along (including the GK/AI crossover).

THING THE THIRD - So I have a question for the Twits Twitter users among you, internets: I noticed (in the course of contemplating signing up) that Twitter wants your full name. Is there a way to keep this from displaying on your profile/information page where other people can see it? Do you get to choose a username later? I've been getting increasingly interested in acquiring a Twitter, but if it showed my full name then I would have to control so much of what I say (for weirdness, mostly) that there wouldn't really be any point. Halp?

Fuck, I wish I wasn't so paranoid *facepalm*

ETA: EXTRA THING - Have another music because emerald_skies is a giant ex-orch dork )

This post brought to you by The Gorgeous Ginger Sex Beast (who sums up how I feel about the video I posted quite nicely)
