THING THE FIRST: Dear university athletic training program director,

Remember how you said my biggest failing was that I needed to work on my people skills? Well I have some news for you; one client I saw at work today was the third person who told me they made a point of booking me specifically. Each of my "regulars" (in different words) said they liked me enough to book me again because I'm a) a good teacher, b) encouraging/nice/funny, and c) patient. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that sounds to me like I have pretty good people skills.

Photobucket
Just sayin'.

--[livejournal.com profile] emerald_skies (who might still be a little bitter about being rejected twice...)

THING THE SECOND: Remember that test I mentioned having on Tuesday that I was convinced I flunked? Well....here are my grades for that class:

Exam 1 (with approx. one week of studying): 75
Exam 2 (with approx. one week of studying): 82
Exam 3 (the one I mislabeled on my calendar) (with one night of studying): ....91

I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW MY BRAIN WORKS OTHER THAN THE FACT THAT I AM CLEARLY SOME SORT OF GENIUS.

THING THE SECOND (PART TWO): Apparently my grade is the reason the professor didn't grade on a curve for this exam. I am THAT student, the curve-wrecking cyborg, for once in my life.

So yeah, between those two things (and other little insignificant victories), things actually sort of looked up today. Here's hoping it's the start of a trend, yeah?

Dude, I was ordering more of my meds today and I actually bothered to look at what my meds SHOULD cost -- let me tell you, internets, being crazy is fucking expensive. Thank Raptor Jesus for La Famille's health insurance or else I would be...like...negative broke. Seriously. I would have the opposite of money.

In other news, the air conditioner died yesterday evening (as [livejournal.com profile] looleebelle already knows because I spent most of last night whining to her about it). I wound up sleeping on top of my sheets in just a bra and shorts with my ceiling fan cranked up to full blast and I still felt godawful. I haven't sweated that much since I had the crazy death flu in my first year of college (and in that case it was because I had a fever of 105ºF). Just one of life's little reminders not to take things for granted, I suppose -- I actually have heard news reports about people without air conditioners here DYING (literally!) in the hotter parts of the summer. Thankfully, the repair guy showed up while I was gone this morning instead of three days later (or some such like what cable repair technicians pull on people).

Finally, I took my chemistry final (ha! See what I did there?) a couple of hours ago and actually...sort of did okay on it. I think. I was studying yesterday (and, again, whining to [livejournal.com profile] looleebelle) and was just about ready to commit seppuku by the time I went to sleep but actually? It wasn't that bad.

Of course, it's entirely conceivable that I still flunked it but fuck it, all my other grades in the class are As, it would be literally impossible for me to actually fail this class at this point so Idgaf. Freedom!

Sorry, honey, people still remember Dubya, I don't think people are exactly pro-Texas yet. It probably doesn't help that you held a giant event to pray the economy into sucking less instead of, y'know, trying to make actual plans to attempt to fix it that don't involve divine intervention.

So, internets, I sort of got the GK/AI crossover up to 16,000 words last night. Parts I and IV are written in their entirety (yeah, I don't get my brain either), part II is partially written and completely storyboarded, part III is almost completely storyboarded, and I still have to start storyboarding part V.

Photobucket
SHIT, BRAIN, GET IT TOGETHER.

*ahem* Anyway, I decided to post a little snippet of part IV as a cookie for y'all and a "thank you" for everyone who's been listening to me bitch about this fic for so long.

Title: Take These Sunken Eyes (And Learn To See)
Author: [livejournal.com profile] emerald_skies
Pairing: Gen, or Tunny/EG if you tilt your head and squint
Rating: PG/PG-13 (just to be safe)
Summary: Tunny gets sick in the middle of recovering, and gets a little TLC from a rather...extraordinary source.
Author's note: I guess this could stand on its own, but this scene is meant to serve as something of a companion piece to Blackbird (which is the same scene from Grace's POV) so it's probably better to read them both. [livejournal.com profile] looleebelle is pretty much a goddess for putting up with my various neuroses without strangling me (and even betaing my stuff anyway).

When Tunny starts to get a cough... )

So yeah, hopefully someone out there got some enjoyment out of that. Comments of all kinds are, as usual, both welcome and strongly encouraged, even if they're simple "I liked this" or "Shut up and gtfo the internet" type comments.

In other news, I went to the doctor today just to get my BC script updated again and wound up waiting for a solid fucking hour in a waiting room with multiple screaming children. This, given the migraine I've had since last night, meant I was pretty much in my own personal tenth circle of Hell.

On the bright side, I lost fifteen pounds since I last checked a month ago, and am now safely in the "normal" weight range for my height AND my blood pressure is normal (instead of being all fucked from my meds like it was before) \o/

This post brought to you by Tunny and the boys because I miss Stark and his stupid adorable face

So...um...remember that Tunny/Will/EG costume fic I've been wittering on about for the last few weeks at least?

I sort of finished it last night. Final wordcount is 30,187 and all that remains now is some last minute fine-tuning and then I can finally post this beast.

Photobucket

I AM EXCITE. Also, ILU, [livejournal.com profile] looleebelle, FOR KICKING MY ASS INTO FINISHING THIS. Now I can get back to the GK/AI crossover with undivided concentration *glee*

I don't know if it's one of those things where everyone is feeling general malaise at the same time again or if y'all are just finally sick of me, but it's been mighty quiet 'round these parts lately. How are you, internets? Alive? If you are and things are just sucking, feel free to either vent or let me know what I could do to make it better (mancandy picspams and silly gifspams are my specialty).

And yes, I realize that this could also be the universe trying yet again to tell me that I should shut the fuck up, get off my laptop, and actually do the RL thing for a while. Honestly though? RL is kind of overrated -- at least my constant internetting doesn't leave me with a tension headache like RL does way too often.

On an unrelated note, I wanted to mention something for the record since it's come up a few times now... )

Anyway, writing meme!

Day Twenty-Three: When you post, where do you post to? Just your journal? Just an archive? Your own personal site?

Just my journal, usually -- I think the only thing I've posted elsewhere recently was putting the Batfic on AO3 so that [livejournal.com profile] mcl4r3n and I could post it more easily to [livejournal.com profile] generation_kill. I use my journal as something of a test run and then I either chicken out of posting fics anywhere else or I just get too lazy to do the cross-posting thing :P

Is anyone else seriously craving a Generation Kill community re-watch? I can't possibly be the only one. I'd do it myself, but I don't want to step on [livejournal.com profile] abrokencompass's toes since that's sort of her thing (at least, it is in my head). Idk, maybe something's already in the works and I just don't know it.

Anyway, in random news, I discovered today that Twitter has its own Twitter account. I know it's probably to post admin messages and stuff like that, but something about the meta of it still made me crack up for a good five minutes at least.

Why yes, I am easily amused, why do you ask?

Finally, here's the next part of the thirty day writing meme:

Day Eighteen: Where do you get the most inspiration for your fics (aka "bunnies") from?

My flist, for the most part, amusingly enough. I think you guys are responsible for pretty much every fic I've written on here that actually has any substantial length and/or its own tag, lol. Music is a close second though; I'll just be sitting there staring off into space and listening to my headphones and then some song or another inevitably makes this perfect, movie-esque scene pop into my head.

Oh, also, have a music: Cut to prevent autoplay or any fuckery with flist formatting )

2) The Firebrand by Marion Zimmer Bradley (at the recommendation of...someone around here, I suddenly can't remember who)
3) Cleopatra's Daughter by Michelle Moran

I'll keep y'all posted as I work my way through these, just in case anyone's looking for new things to read.

THINGS!

emerald_skies: (Default)
THING THE FIRST: A meme I gacked from [livejournal.com profile] pjvilar:

Comment with "bring it on!" and...

• I'll respond by asking you five questions so I can get to know you better.
• Update your journal with the answers to the questions (if you want to).
• Include this explanation in the post and offer to ask other people questions.

Come on, you know you're curious... )

THING THE SECOND: [livejournal.com profile] looleebelle wrote me a fucking awesome untitled Ray/Walt ficlet using some ADELE lyrics as a prompt (you can see them in the body of the linked post if you scroll up from the comment thread). I highly recommend y'all go read it and then proceed to flail happily in her general direction like I did :P

THING THE THIRD: As I was puttering around the house yesterday, I spotted some movement in the backyard out of the corner of my eye -- movement which turned out to be a small grey tabby kitten (that couldn't have been more than 6 months old) crawling into my garage by wriggling its way under the door. Amazingly, I couldn't find it anywhere even though the garage was thoroughly searched less than thirty seconds after I saw the poor thing. I hope it's okay, it started thundering and stuff outside not too long after this happened...

(I think my neighborhood is slowly turning into cat central or something, this kitten makes the fifth stray I've seen around here within the last couple of months *sadface*)

THING THE LAST: My Tunny/Will/EG fic is hovering around 7500 words right now (because [livejournal.com profile] pau494 is a goddess and brought my muse out of its coma), and I'm about 3/4 of the way done. I wouldn't be surprised if this sucker broke 10k, y'all.

And to think, when I started this I thought it was only going to be a puny 5,000 word one shot.

Random philosophical questions that have crossed my mind recently:

1) Okay, so we know that when a (closeted) gay guy goes out with a woman to try to look extra heterosexual, that woman is called a beard. What's the male equivalent? (Like, if a closeted gay woman goes out with a man to look extra straight). Is there a name for that?

2) When did Bon Iver suddenly become such a huge deal? I'd never even heard of them except for a tangential mention in some Stark interview (shut up, I know I'm a sad, pathetic fangirl for remembering that) and suddenly they're EVERYWHERE. Obviously, the hipsters are taking over.

3) Why is Charlie Sheen still a thing? Did he do something extra wacky and insane recently that I missed?

In other news, [livejournal.com profile] generation_kill hosted a themed recs post for crossovers and someone rec'ed the batfic!

Photobucket

This makes me absurdly happy, moreso than it probably should. Remember that I have a tiny, fragile ego when it comes to any sort of fanfic that I do anything for (either on my own or in a collaborative capacity), so people rec'ing anything I worked on sort of makes my week.

Finally, I'm composing a list of movies I need/want to see (and possibly review) this summer. So far, I've got...

Thor
Priest
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides
Hanna
Scream 4 (am going to have to Redbox/Netflix/pirate this, evidently)
X-Men: First Class (it's probably going to be hilariously awful, but I cannot resist the sexy siren song of James McAvoy)
Green Lantern (mostly because Le Boyfriend is going to drag me to see it whether I like it or not)
Captain America: The First Avenger (see above)
Don't Be Afraid of the Dark

Not to mention the other movie review posts I have that I'm supposed to do at some point (like 2012 *sigh*). Any other suggestions? Between my junior physical therapist duties and my summer classes, I'm going to be really, spectacularly bored this summer, so any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

And now back to desperately trying to unfuck my creative muse and waiting pathetically for January so The 2-2 can start and I can have an excuse to fangirl on a weekly basis. Ta!

Ahoy there, internets! How goes life for y'all? Is anyone else stuck in finals hell like me? Remember, misery loves company.

ANYWAY, for starters, have a good ol' fashioned game of fuck/marry/kill shag/marry/cliff. The rules, if anyone else is interested and/or has never done this before:

1) Comment to this and (if you want) I will give you 3 (fictional) people.
2) Post this meme to your LJ with your answers.
3) Provide pictures/text descriptions and the names of the 3 people.
4) Label whom you would shag, marry and (push off a) cliff.

[livejournal.com profile] sgrios gave me Thor, Nate, and Giles

Talk about Sophie's choice, man... )

All joking aside, that was a surprisingly difficult decision. I would propose a fight to the death for the chance to marry me, but Thor would win easily and we would run into the "cocky, insufferable brat" problem I mentioned before.

On a totally unrelated note, I'm going through yet another phase where the way some people over at [livejournal.com profile] ontd_political rag on Texas is just pissing me off. Yes, the government here is by and large batshit insane and the governor is (for the most part) a flaming dickbag, but that doesn't make talking about how Texas should GTFO/secede/etc. especially clever or appropriate. But that's another rant for another day.

And now, off to try to coax a bit of fic out of my poor brain and to (possibly) re-watch GK for morale boosting purposes. Plus I should probably type up my notes for my last final at some point since it's a) open note and b) tomorrow morning, but that's neither here nor there. Ahem.

ETA: True Blood needs to hurry up and start already, I miss having ASkars on my T.V. computer screen to squee about and lust over (or, rather, to be able to do that in friendly company instead of getting weird looks like I do from Le Boyfriend or my family).

So, um, internets? A post I read just now prompted me to make a request of y'all that might sound neurotic and paranoid but it just needs to be said:

Please, please, please for the love of Raptor Jesus don't ever send anything I write featuring real people to the people involved.

I know none of y'all would do that to me, but the post I was reading about this gave me all sorts of panicky, skyrocketing blood pressure-y sort of feelings. I like not being sued into oblivion and I don't want to have to friendslock everything and thus lock out any lurkers (I know there are at least a couple of you), so PLEASE don't do that.

TL;DR version: The fourth wall is our friend. Please respect it.

That being said, have a meme that I stole from [livejournal.com profile] jean_iris a week or so ago:

1) Write your lj username
2) Write your two favorite bands/artists at the moment
3) Draw a heart
4) Write the name of your favorite person of all time.

My handwriting kind of sucks out loud )

Finally, I just want to pause and celebrate the fact that a) today was my last day of classes and b) I FINISHED MY STUPID GROUP TERM PROJECT THING (I handed it in on Thursday).

Photobucket

All that's left is finals, and I'm not the least bit worried about those (considering how I have straight As and all)

And now, back to writing my Tunny/Will/EG costume!fic and reading Dead Reckoning (Idk why, but I'm having a difficult time getting started with it).

I swear to God, it must be something in the water, because it's becoming a bad week (or two) for certain individuals in the GK fandom doing really stupid shit:

First Rudy (and real!Ray) and now Kocher? Really? )

Photobucket

Much like President God, I am disappoint.

Also, I was informed that new!Tunny screwed up the lyrics twice in a recent AI showing. TWICE. I know Stark is a hard act to follow and all, but COME ON NOW. Ugh.

On a similarly depressing note, I was sent this picture and just...good lord, the poor guy looks worn the fuck out. It's weird to see someone who usually looks perfect pretty much all the time look...human. Especially considering the bags under his eyes are almost as bad as mine O_o Don't get me wrong, it cheers me up to an embarrassing degree when he and I have things in common, but this wasn't what I had in mind.

Although I may or may not have flailed around like a total loser over the fact that the oral fixation is still a thing...*ahem*

MOVING ON.

1) Dear Texas weather,

I do not understand you. I give up. The average temperature last week was in the 30s (ºF) or so (see frozen campus fountain photo), and it's supposed to be in the middle 70s (ºF) this week? IN THE MIDDLE OF FEBRUARY?

Fuck this shit, I'm moving somewhere that actually has distinct seasons (as opposed to Almost Summer, Summer, Still Summer, and Christmas). Any New Yorkers on my flist feel like adopting me?

Sincerely,
[livejournal.com profile] emerald_skies (aka the girl whose nervous system can't take much more of this)

2) It's probably a bad sign of how weird and insane I am that I was cracking up over how the contents of my Funny Macros folder were moving largely in sync with Telephone - Lady Gaga & Beyoncé. Especially this one:

Photobucket
Yes, I know this is from the Army's Telephone music video

I am so easily amused, it's kind of ridiculous.

3) Le Boyfriend has been acting shifty and evasive when I ask him what he has in mind for Valentine's today. I am slightly concerned but, given what happened the last time he was all shifty and evasive about a significant occasion, I'm also intrigued. I'll keep y'all posted if anything especially interesting happens.

4) I have a test in Abnormal Psychology in about...*checks watch* five hours. So far (over the last few days), studying for it has been going like this. I hate my brain sometimes.

All I want to do is sleep and work on my GK/AI crossover (or that Starsgard vampire!AU, but its no fun writing by yourself and [livejournal.com profile] mcl4r3n is much better at pretending to be a responsible adult than I am). And yet, I have two tests and two major assignments do this week.

The moral of the story? Fuck college. I wonder if La Famille would take it personally if I dropped out and descended into a glamorous life of crime blogging, compulsive snacking, and general slackerdom?

1) Sociology professor: [to the class at large while making a point] Why are you here?
What I wish I could have said: Because my degree plan thinks I'll be a better/smarter student for taking this class even though you just spent the last 10-15 minutes intensively explaining what socialization is. Otherwise? Good question.

I realize I can be something of a snob/elitist when it comes to intellectual standards, but really, is it so unreasonable to expect a class full of college kids (even though an alarming number of them are freshmen) to have at least a vague idea of what socialization is? Is it really necessary to spend 10-15 minutes on that?

I'll just be over here wondering if my freakishly rigorous college prep school education has permanently warped my brain. It did take me at least two years to be able to deal with getting a C...

2) I noticed on my Sociology syllabus (yes, I'm going to be ranting about this class a lot) that there's going to be a "discussion day" about Race/Ethnicity. Is it bad that the various racewanks I've witnessed on LJ have made me unbelievably, cynically excited about this to the point that I fully intend to bring popcorn and internet bingo cards? Call it a crazy hunch, but I can't help but feel like I'm looking at this from the wrong perspective.

3) One of my friends recently pointed out that the last 5-8 years of my life should not only place me out of my Abnormal Psych. class, but should qualify me to teach it. Am still deciding whether or not that was the most left-handed compliment in all of existence.

4) In non-RL news, this (WARNING: spoiler alert for Glee) makes me wonder if Ryan Murphy has decided to abandon all pretense and is now openly trolling the shit out of us, or if this is just keeping with the usual trend of flip-flopping between Puck being a 17 year old boy juvenile asshole or a decent human being.

5) Dear Christian Kane,

How does your voice exist? More importantly, who do I have to kill maim pray to to make a duet with you and Stark happen? Because something tells me the combination of y'all's voices could engineer world peace. It certainly doesn't hurt that both of y'all are stupidly good-looking.

Photobucket

Think it over?

Much love,
[livejournal.com profile] emerald_skies

P.S. - Jensen Ackles could come too, it'd be like a giant Texas-gasm (HA!) of awesome.

6) I've been re-watching OZ to bring myself out of this funk I've been in lately (shut up, it makes sense in my head) and have decided two things:

- I would sell my apartment for Dean Winters (a.k.a. Ryan O'Reilly)
- I need OZ gifs (bonus points if they include O'Reilly)

7) Am I the only one who has trouble picturing Tom Hardy as Bane in the next Batman movie? I've been hearing about him and this role so many times lately that I'm starting to wonder if this is actually a thing. I'm not sure why, he and Bane just don't mesh in my head but who knows? Maybe he'll surprise me.

(Make no mistake, I love me some Tom Hardy, I just can't picture him this way without doing some mental gymnastics)

THING THE FIRST: I finally got my camera! After I wrestled the box open, I promptly spent the next thirty minutes annoying the bejeezus out of Le Boyfriend with scenarios like...

Me: *holds up tiny plastic whatsit* The heck is this?
Le Boyfriend: That's the battery.
Me: *holds up another tiny plastic whatsit* And this?
Le Boyfriend: That's the battery charger.

And so on. There was also much marveling over how friggin' tiny it is (seriously, it's the same approximate dimensions as a box of Altoids). Y'all might laugh at me for my confusion over the many tiny plastic whatsits -- which, incidentally, have a frightening talent for disappearing -- and the battery but, for reference, the last digital camera I had regular access to a) belonged to my family, b) was roughly the size of your standard full-size matchbox (or a smaller film camera), and c) ran on AA batteries. In other words, I AM NEW TO THE TINY CAMERAS OF THE FUTURE, OKAY?

I'm also impressed with all the software functions. It auto-corrects red-eye (I used to have to do that on my computer), has a blink detector (which is causing me no end of amusement), and can distinguish/orient faces in a given frame (it puts little blinky white corners around them). The jury's still out on whether it can slice/dice/make julien fries, but I wouldn't put it past this thing. I fully intend to spend the rest of the afternoon playing with it -- which might involve further annoying the bejeezus out of Le Boyfriend.

THING THE SECOND: I finished my finals today! Spanish was easy (God bless online classes), Stress Management was easy (see previous), Sports Nutrition was so-so (I barely studied anyway because I'm pretty sure I could've skipped it and still made a low B in the class), and Physiology of Exercise was GOOD GOD SO STUPIDLY HARD. Well, the essay wasn't so hard, but there were parts of the multiple choice that had me going like this:

Photobucket

Except quietly in my seat. At least I wasn't the only one writhing in anguish.

THING THE THIRD: I finally got Le Batfic posted to AO3 for ease of re-reading (and posting to [livejournal.com profile] generation_kill. I was delighted to discover that it doesn't freak out at LJ formatting, but enraged at how MOTHERFUCKING SLOW it is, and then there was this whole thing where it posted an extra chapter and I couldn't figure out WHY. Much rending of garments (figuratively speaking) ensued until I finally figured out that it had somehow posted the last chapter twice.

THING THE FOURTH: I should probably get around to picking out possible dates/times for the Die Mommie Die re-watch in [livejournal.com profile] stark_sands. Um.

THING THE FIFTH: Happy birthday, [livejournal.com profile] muthine! I bring you eyefucking as a birthday present
Photobucket

THING THE LAST: The New York trip is in four days. FOUR DAYS.

Photobucket

Plans for a meet-up are in progress (with a million thanks to [livejournal.com profile] pjvilar for helping with my hilariously awful planning skills). Incoherent flailing has already begun.

Hokay, so, here's de Earth I've been studying for the last little while with Prom Night (yes, that shitty one from 2008) on in the background when suddenly I hear a very familiar voice.

Oh God, I'm so late, but oh well.

Happy Halloween/Blessed Samhain/Happy (Celt!)New Year, internets!

Due to a hellacious pile-up of schoolwork, I might not be as active as usual this week (unfortunately, this includes posting more of Celer, Silens, Mortalis). Anyway, in the mean time, I have two memes for y'all to choose from (or the particularly bored among you are welcome to do both):

1) (Gacked from [livejournal.com profile] jean_iris)

Ask me my top five whatevers: could be fannish, personal, what have you. I will answer in comments. You can ask as many top fives as you want.

or

2) (Gacked from [livejournal.com profile] chibirhm)

In honor of All Hallow's Eve, I'm inviting trick-or-treaters to my 'door'. Comment "trick-or-treat" to this post and...well, you know the drill. Treats can be anything that strikes my fancy (pics of fave actors or pairings, one sentence fics, graphics, a few words about why I'm glad to have you on my flist, etc. etc.). The more "houses" to visit the more fun it'll be, so go ahead, open your journal and help spread the fun!

OhGodsolate

Welp, that's it for now. Off to gorge myself into a diabetic coma and watch Nightmare Before Christmas (like I do every Halloween and Christmas) and tackle my massive pile of schoolwork (like I do ever since I got to college...)

Random!JGroff thanks you for your time:

Cheers.

P.S. - I'm both excited for and dreading seeing everyone's war big bangs going up tomorrow. Excited for my GK girls, but dreading the fact that my attention span is going to be ruined for months just from rolling around in all the awesome...

P.P.S. - Just got a text from an old friend from grade school (those of you who have been here a few years might dimly remember Cricket):

(Cricket): Watching Harry potter...fandom has ruined the movies for me. I get annoyed when he and Draco fail to kiss.

Oh fandom, please never change.

Well, internets, I don't have as much for you today but what little I have should be plenty entertaining. Hopefully.

First, the two remaining Supernatural reaction posts (apologies for lateness):

Episode 6x04 'Weekend at Bobby's' )

Episode 6x05 'Live Free or Twi-hard' )

Aaand more Bat!fic.

Title: Celer, Silens, Mortalis (Part 5)
Authors: [livejournal.com profile] emerald_skies and [livejournal.com profile] mcl4r3n
Summary: In which Brad and Nate both take some hard knocks, Nate takes a leap of faith, a new player joins the game (and what a card he is), and everything comes to a boil.

Brad regains consciousness slowly at first... )

For those who have questions about the ending of this part, don't worry -- you won't have to wait too long for some answers ;)

Stay tuned for a Glee reaction post and, quite possibly, my Kung Fu Hustle review post (at last).

So, this here's basically another odd & ends post.

1) An entertaining video I found on [livejournal.com profile] stark_sands that doesn't really tell us anything new but DOES have tasty gratuitous shirtless closeups (AI stuff starts at approximately the 5 minute mark) )

Yes, I'm fully aware that I have no shame. At least the part about how the makeup team ages his tattoos with powder to make them look real is interesting?

2) I know I said I'd post my remaining SPN reaction posts today, but school and fic essentially took over my brain the entire afternoon, so I'm postponing it to tomorrow. Feel free to throw things at me, I know this is getting ridiculous -_-

3) Aaaaand more Batman!AU (which is now approximately 14,000 words ohGod /o\):

Title: Celer, Silens, Mortalis (Part 4)
Authors: [livejournal.com profile] emerald_skies and [livejournal.com profile] mcl4r3n
Summary: In which our heroes further develop their working relationship, all hell breaks loose, Walt gets into trouble, and Nate finds himself in a rather unique position.

The next morning, Nate unlocks his office and notices it's colder than usual... )

Apologies for the cliffhanger. I hope y'all liked it otherwise :D

Greetings and salutations, internets! A few things...

1) Glee reaction posts:

Episode 2x03 'Grilled Cheesus' )

Episode 2x04 'Duets' )

2) Supernatural reaction posts:

Episode 6x01 'Exile on Main St.' )

Episode 6x02 'Two and a Half Men' )

Episode 6x03 'The Third Man' )

3) I sort of have this fic that [livejournal.com profile] abrokencompass and I were co-authoring like a million years ago, but the muse sort of ran out and so it's unfinished. I'm considering giving up and posting it here in its unfinished form -- would that interest anyone? It involves a drunken table dance (and the aftermath thereof), among other things.

Anyway, I'll have my remaining two SPN reaction posts up tomorrow, as well as (hopefully) some more Batman!AU ([livejournal.com profile] mcl4r3n and I are working on it as I write this post). It should be interesting, so stay tuned :D
